i bought this pair of sunglasses

and truly, they don’t suit me.

the brim is frail

the frames are too high-fashion for me

the lenses turn my world a tinted pink

and they don’t provide much protection from the sunlight.

i held on to them for entirely too long

but i finally threw out those stupid rose colored glasses.
